How to use "PERSON - TYPE" ??

    How to use "PERSON - TYPE" ??

     When a person is created in CRM (New Person), a type can be selected from a check-box list (Admin, Finance, Operations...etc)

    I need to create a report of Persons having the type of person as a column of the report and I need to create a group for specific type of person. 

    What is the field that contains this info?

     Hello Jay.

    Thanks for the info.  I have another field for address type showing "Business / Billing / Shipping.."  It's probably address_link, right ?

    How I can Change the Types and also add more types?  When I go to customization, the field doesn't appear in the field list.

     Hi Edesja

     If you need to add address types, this is done through Translations.

    To add a new Person Address Type add a translation using the following values:

    Capt_family: Link_PersAddr
    Capt_code: Home
    capt_us: Home
    capt_uk: Home

    etc...

     

    To add a new Person Address Type add a translation using the following values:

    Capt_family: Link_CompAddr
    Capt_code: HeadOffice
    capt_us: Head Office
    capt_uk: Head Office

    etc...
