Dear All & Master Jay,

Please advise, where I can find referense for installing client ACCPAC 5.3. I have google it but no one for my case.

I have 5 type cd installer (Advantages Series, Master CD, LANPAC User, Cash Book, Service Pack) and Persasive SQl.

I also read "readme" but its so complicated, can you give simple step to install.

To install the client, run Setup.Exe in the WSSETUP folder, and use the same SharedData folder as the other workstations.  Then install the right Pervasive client, I don't know if you're using Workgroup or Client/Server.

Thanks for your quick response, I am sorry, not read detail your instruction, I found WSSETUP folder in ACCAPAC Server ..and run it..

next step is to install pervasive sql, i check at other client installed pervasive v8, how to install it ?

How to know I was using Workgroup or Client/Server but at CD PSQL v9, written version 9.1 workgroup for windows, is it indicated as Workgroup ?

and please advice me to learn from scracth, where i must start to learn ACCPAC.

Where is your Accpac business consultant, from whom you purchased Accpac?

I have success to install accpac5.3 to pc client , many thanks to Mr. Jay, below my step:

1. map ACCPAC folder from accpac server

2. Install Pervasive SQl

3. Install Crystal Report for reporting

4. run setup from folder ACCPAC\WSSETUP

5. Setup ODBC

  -ACCDAT (pervasive odbc client interface)

  -ACCSYS (pervasive odbc client interface)

6. run RegAcc.exe at folder \ACCPAC\RUNTIME

I'm glad you were successful. Note that step 3 is only required if you are going to be editing reports, not simply running them.
