Having a problem with Crystal on new server .Everything is fine on old servers but on this one I have to reinstall Crystal every day. Reinstalled windows and ACCPAC and still same issue.Any ideas?

 I'm guessing the Crystal dll's are not being registered on the new server, that's why you have to reinstall every day.

What is the server OS? Is it a terminal server?

Did try that but no luck

That's not surprising, because that fix is for older versions of Accpac, when Crystal 8.x was still being used.

Then Joey is right, Crystal is not getting installed and registered correctly.  You should only have to do it once.  FWIW, nobody else has to install it every day.

I'm wondering if you have the right version of the Crystal Run Time engine installed because it is my understanding that the "pwFormatDate" function is an Accpac-specific function that is not available in the standard product.

Have professional version. Only difference between this server and other servers is windows 2003 R2 on new server.

You're confusing Crystal Reports the editor with the Crystal Runtime files that come with Accpac.  Crystal Professional is not required to be installed on the server.  Run Accpac workstation setup with administrative privileges.

Just have to copy that dll to system 32 folder and everything is working.....
