    Crystal Report Viewer: Logon Failed

    Hello,

I have an error when I open a report in Accpac:

    Logion Failed.

    Details: [Database vendor code:18456]

    Any idea is welcome.

    Thanks!

Without knowing Accpac or database versions, or whether it's a custom report, the answer is "re-create your ODBC DSN's".

    Thanks for your quick reply!
Accpac version is 5.5 just upgraded from 5.4.
The report was created in Crystal Reports XI and its data is from Accpac tables.
Everything is fine to open it in Crystal Report. But It cannot be opened in Accpac.

    Thanks!

Make sure the the ODBC DSN used inside the report is the same as the one Accpac uses. You can't have a DSN with Windows authentication, or have any non-Accpac tables (or views) in the reports.

    Great! You are the terrific!

It is the same one. But it doesn't work after upgrading.

I just created a new DSN and re-create the report with the new DSN. It is working now.

    Thanks a lot!
