Is there a reason why ACCPAC allows the PR and PO to be edited even after the transaction is posted/printed? It only locks the PO transaction once the item has been received. There is a chance that while the PO is already being processed (i.e. supplier has already been selected and is about to deliver the item) that the transaction can be edited/cancelled/deleted.

Exactly, I believe this feature was actually in place due to user requests.
