I installed a third party program in one workstation , but they said this should not do anything to the other workstation. do you think that maybe it is  the managed ethernet switches(smc 24 ports), but terminal server work fine . so what kind of network problem do you think i might have

    Thank you

Try deleting C:\PVSW\BIN\W3DBSMGR.EXE on the workstation.

What is the 3rd party program that you installed?

Do you run Accpac off the workstations or off the server (local or server install)?

Why not run Accpac on TS if it works fine?

That's the local Pervasive engine.  Even when you turn it off, it still wants to run.  I don't know why it used to work fine.
